A: How did you do on your exam today?
B: It was horrible. I think I flunked it.
A: I thought you studied a lot for it. Was it hard?
B: I guess it was. This one has always been tough for me anyway.
A: Why don't we study together? I took the class last semester and probably I can give you some help.
`I fail the exam'이라는 뜻이 되겠습니다.
`This one has always been tough for me'는 항상 그부분에 있어 어려움을 겪는다는 표현으로 여기에서 `tough'의 의미는 `difficult'가 됩니다.
